By Elite State (Just the Best) who retired from racing with the imposing record of 30 starts for 26 wins and 3 placings and was a dual Group 1 winner who has since gone on to be one of the premier sires in Australia. Sired champion race dogs like Knocka Norris, Size Can Matter, Catunda Harry, Back Tonight etc.
Lilli Pilli Star descends from the great Tranquil Flame who produced multiple Group 1, Group 2 and Feature race winners.
Lilli Pilli Star's mother was Tranquil Scene who is a full sister to outstanding race dog and sire Awesome Assassin. Awesome Assassin held 8 track records from 424m to 620m during his racing career then sired champions including Paua to Burn, Modern Assassin, Whiskey Assassin, Floodfawn and Mid City Mandy to name a few. Awesome Assassin was an out and out champion.
Tranquil Scene is also a litter sister to champion race dog and sire Lilli Pilli Lad who won 11 of 14 race starts before siring staying champions Fallen Zorro and Chinatown Lad to name a couple.
Vane Express's mother Lilli Pilli Star is from the same litter as Black Anvil who won group races and over $70k in prize money and is a half sister to Spirit of Will and Robust Character who were Group performed dogs who won well over $100k between them.
As a race bitch Vane Express showed dazzling early speed in most of her races often leading to the first turn. She ran quick times at Mandurah over 405m running 22.92, 23.04, 23.08 and 23.14 in some of her wins. She was never the same racedog after a bad fall in April 09 just a couple of months after a hatrick of wins took her to grade 1 company at Mandurah. She should make an excellent broodbitch with outstanding breeding and a great race record.
Vane Express's sister I'm Elitist (Elite State x Lilli Pilli Star) has produced up and coming star I'm Hot Property (12-5-2-2)by Bit Chilli in her first litter. I'm Hot Property has burnt the Cannington track up winning in 30.56, 30.66, 30.69 and looks set for a huge future.
