SANDY'S ARGUMENT (Rosie)
Sire: Closing Argument Dam: Slim Sandy Owner(s): N. Caruana, P. Harvey Whelp Date: 01/03/2008 Sex: B Colour: Red Fawn
Rosie is a nice fawn bitch who has be sent to us from 1 of our new owners Vinnie who seems to have a fair oppinion of this head strong bitch.
I like her flare and it seems that she can run as well and should be keen to see how she balances up in around another 3 months. Thats a stage that i feel that dog and i are totaly working as 1 but as always each case is indevidual.
From here on in Rosie will head to cannington on Mon to have a slip into the corner before we get a bit of track experiance before taking on her maiden[/b]

Had a hitout this morning by herself, and was more than happy with what i seen. and from here on in she will head towards cannington for a slip into he first turn.
The top of her head is still giving her niggling pain but she seems very sensitive in which we keep this moniterd closely.

Has shown signs of improvment of late and seems like she is ready to go foward with her prep now. She will go to canno on thursday for a run into the first turn before heading towards a red dot and then on to her post to post.
Lets keep the fingers crossed that her mind also says to go foward Vinnie,

Has come along just fine and will head to canningrton on mon morning for a post to post run. She has signs of willing to race again since the last week or so and i think it was a major part of this girls problem after the season.
She will have another gallop this after noon

Rosie has continued to impress since her attitude change and did real well this morning at her first go from the boxes running a time of 31.33 which will see us enter her for a cannington quali on the wed night.
It would be great to draw a small field which would help her with a bit more clear room to move education wise.

Not long now to the draws come out vinnie bud. Im sure she will get to her maiden race start at cannington in the not to distant future. But im sure with a cler run a nd luck and of course a nice track that she will run a quali time the first time she gets room to move. I feel its that easy for the first step at least. From then on in it gets harder and harder.

Bloody shame she drew so far of the track at her first start so im just praying that she can gain some cover and stay out of the trouble on the first turn.
I would expect her to improve with fitness and strength over the up coming months.
good luck tommorrow Vinnie

I thought it was a solid little run by the girl on wed night Vinny and think that she will gain so much out of that and continue to improve from week to week with all going well.
After finding her a bit of troubl on the first turn i was just so happy that she got around safe at her first venture.
With a ok draw tyhis week with the four i expect that if she can step with them then she should be around top 4 again when heading for the back.
Allowing this with a clear run i would expect her also to improve on her time.

I was dead set stocked with the girls effort the other night after blowing the start andf feel that she is about to take the next step in the up coming weeks with development allowed and feel that if we can not get close to winning in the next 4 starts that she is just not going to get the extra distance. But i feel that she will do other wise and stand up and put her self in the finish real soon with any luck in the run.
