ELITE COAST
(Benny)

Sire: Elite State
Dam: Muskrat Sally
Owner(s): B. McDonald, P. Harvey, N. Woods
Whelp Date: 24/04/2008
Sex: D
Colour: Brindle

This lovely type has arrived from N.S.W for some new owners of ours who have just joined ranks with BOX1RACING and we would like to wish them all the best for the furture with BENNY.

Benny is a lovely tempered fellow who switches on the second its race time and his previous form indicatesthat there could be better things install for this boy down the road.

With clear indications that he will get the 530m wwe have decided to go for a country grade race before heading on dow the road to cannington for his debut.

Had a run on the track this morning and did only what he wanted to while getting used to the surroundings.
Will have another hit out in 2 days time and then it will be foward into his race prep from that stage on.

So far im totaly happy with the way he has made him self at home and rather with the factor of his body language that says hes feeling great at the new place.
The other dogs dont worry him a bit and when you put him on the track you then see his quick change in temprament.

Seems to have a bit going for him this fellow Benny boy

With nerves in hand it was 1 of those starts that i wish i could just drop dead on.
When we came out last i was just dead set shattered and thought our chances of making the final were all but over.

But BENNY had other ideas by sticking his head down and charging threw the pack at the first turn to railk up and run on into 2nd for his first start in W.A

We have come up with the 2 draw in the final and feel with the amount of wide runners that if we can begin well and croos the red that we may get a saloon run by the 302m boxes which wuld inhanse his chances of a top3 finish in the EXPRESS STAKE final.

Goood luck to all and lets see if we can pull of a upset Friday night

Benny is switched on for the final tonight and it seems that even with only 1 start in WA so far that he has made a name for his self and is on top of many of the tipsters lips for tonights final.

I think the main factor that says we are a chance is simpley the Arrow 2 BOX.

If we can use the box to our advantage then i feel that he may be able to put him self there abouts to be in the photo at the end .

I have done all i can for a limited trainer such as my self and only hope that he gains a clear run in order to justify both of us.

To the connections who have set back therte holiday in order to on there boy ,
we would like to say thank you for your support and with any luck your new found boy could be thanking you with some style tonight him self.

He pulled up a treat again this week and will be heading for the 3rd grade event before going to cannington to get some extra milage under his belt.

Weight wise he seems to be fine and i do expect to keep fluctuating about foe a few more starts before decideing on what kg to race him at.

How frustrating to see him find trouble once again during the run.
He was up there primed to take the next step before getting pushed out towards the 302m boxes.

From here on in he may get a go at the COUNTRY CHAMPION SHIPS to be run over 492m at Mandurah with the final to be run at Cannington the week later.

Either way i see him indicating that he is now looking for futher and thats the game plan.
He also shows that he needs the rails or up to the 4 box in a a race to really help his cause.

Has being set for this race and with no luck off late over the shorter runs i am only hopeing that a bit of luck comes his way in the heats.

I would love to see him ping to the front and lead ut feel that he may be back behind the leader NO1 with any luck.
He will power on fron the 302m boxes and lets just hope that he can run them down.

Either way he will then go on to have his debut race at Cannington.
With any luck Shona you may be threw to another final if he can find the rails.

Is a dead set shame the other night as old num nuts here stuck bens tail in the box and i feel our chanmces were all over red rover from that point on.

hes run quicker then the winner did and at this stage is just finding trouble around Mandurah so we may have 1 more run then head to Cannington for a crack over the 530m.

He just needs some luck in the run and his form will turn straight around.
