First off as u may see i never travel any place without my blanket and mat and am a real luvi duvi to say the least.
Would say my fav past time is getting pats and rubs along with sleeping and eating.

he has trained and is in great condition.
He thinks im also the best behaved boy he has had for some time.

Apart from that we had a small gallop yesterday to loosen the travel weary legs in which i went real well before being packed away for another day in my kennel.
Other wise i think im heading to mandurah for a couple fo races before heading up to northam for a crack at the tighter turning track.

With all my country and provisial as well as city im sure we are all going to have plenty of fun together.

I know he is around 32kgs or so - but he looks huge - lots of muscle!

Hopefully he has a motor under that facade - I don't reckon he'll get knocked around too much! Think he'll be the knocker!

I had a look at his weight card - he was 33.8 last start

Not that I have seen many but he is the most placid greyhound I have ever seen - as you can see from the top photo he was virtually going asleep standing there in the sun

Hopefully when he see's the lure he sparks up

Has he seen Mandurah yet?

WE Are looking at a start for the boy some time next week around thursday or at latest the week after on thursday.

hes being over the 302m in which he went well first time outof the boxes going 17.41.

i think he will be better suited to a straight line run over all but handled the turn quiet well saying that he had never being there before.

Regardless im sure you are going to have a lot of fun with this guy and he should win you more than his fair share of races with luck in the run.

Was a shame he drew so wide on the track for his first up run over the 405m as he realy needs down near the rails.
Hes coming along nice and has being training on well.

Lets hope he can just stay out off trouble from the wide draw.

Welldone to MONTY and the Box1 Racing crew for getting 1st across the line at Mandurah last night.

Trust all the new owners were thrilled with his efforts judging by the texts I was getting on my phone last night.

Hopefully there are a coupla extra meaty bites in his tucker today

Was a great result for us last night when buddy decided to put his head down and charge to the first turn like a true pro before being able to set up a winning margin.

1st off i would like to thank a special some one who was going to race buddy him self in WA and gave us the chance to purchase and race him.

and 2nd off the new owners that followed my choice to buy the boy.
he will be back next week over the 405m again and lets hope for a rails draw that will help his cause big time.

An excellent run by Buddy last night, from an awkward draw and after getting checked early, used his 'railing' ability to score 2nd place.

The call was nothing short of terrible for those listening on the radio - thought he had run 5th or 6th, then all of sudden he ran 2nd Shocked

Considering the way Buddy was getting home the other night - are there plans down the line for him to step up to 530m?

I know his form says he hasn't won past 500m, although he has been placed, and the Cannignton track might suit him. Worth a try? Bit more prizemoney?
