1/4 share of Ethanol Boy

Hi All,

I asked Paul if he wanted a quarter share of Fred last week. He was more than keen, but unfortunately a trailer has become available and he needs that a little more.

So this leave a 25% in Fred available for any of the members of Box 1 Racing.

I'm looking for $1200 ono for the 25% share and it will work like this.

$1200 gets you a share and then there a zero ongoing costs (apart from any vet bills).
Paul will continue to train Fred on a 50/50 basis. So if Fred wins a $1400 race your 25% share will amount to $175 ie 1400, 700 goes to Paul, 700 to "Us", 25% of 700 is 175. Easy

As I said Paul was very keen on a share, and was more than confident of recouping his money - and then some. He is also planning on targeting Fred for some of the bigger Northam races too.

Fred is 100% sound and has been up against the best WA has to offer...and not been disgraced by any stretch.

He's in the FTA tonight and although not fancied by the tipster is expected to run a bold race.

Hi brett,

Unfortunately Fred will be staying with me til he stops racing. If you have $3000 to get you started I'm sure Paul would be able to point you in the right direction mate.

The share idea never seemed to get much response and a few conversations with Paul convinced me to maintain 100% share.

You'll get a competitive dog for 3000 for sure.

Outside leg cost me half of that and Bob was a great dog.
