Nurse Trina Makes it Ten at Mandurah

Fast beginner Nurse Trina brought up her tenth career victory tonight when an effortless winner of the Friday $35 Buffet Peel Stake. Owned by the Perth Turf Talk syndicate and trained by Paul Harvey, the daughter of Collision has never been overly strong but her box manners have always been her major asset. She dropped back to Grade 5 company and as soon as the boxes opened it was apparent that the race was hers to lose. She quickly established a four length lead and on the line she was 4.25 lengths clear of reserve Incarcerate who ran a solid second for his new trainer Kevin Foxton. Punters were alert to the fact that race conditions suited her and she returned a win dividend of $2.20.

anyway she will be having one more run before we ask her to step up and contest the Mandurah Oaks over 490m on June 3rd - Final on the June 10th

the Heats are worth $2,055 and the final $12,030

it will be a big ask for our girl at this trip but hopefully her early speed will mean she can get a break and hold on for atleast a qualifying spot in the final and as we know in greyhound racing being in the lead is a massive advantage

gets this week off for some rest and relaxation.
