Not long at all now boys. The girl will head to Mandurah on Sat morn for a go over the 490m. She will then be ready to race on the Thu also over the same distance.
We will have a look at picking up your 2 5th grade country before heading to the city to have a go at some prov races.
Either way she is coming along real nice

Was a shame that as soon as she stepped out and mustered that she rann up the 3s arse that jolted her momentum.
She cut loose to go around them at the 302m boxes but once again found her slef tracking deep and finding heels.
Was a gutsy effort 1st up for 4th after finding strife and that in turn should do her the world off good as she will still fightin. At least g but looking for the rails when the post loomed.
She ran yesterday and went great at that. She will also head to the beach today for a wade as well. I think if we can draw a inside box this week it will make a huge differance.
490m Thursday Night guyssssss

Was good effort 2nd up from the girl last night. They were thundering along with the winner clocking a eye opening 27-73 which is just un heard off in this type of class from a week to week basis.
From here on the Girl will head to Cannington next Wed night for a crack at a Kanyana series. Lets hope she can draw near the rails and just get around safe first up. The girl has being to canno before and handled the track well. The draw will play a big part this week.

With out a doubt giving the girl the time has worked and her gallop today was simple good. She went hard early and managed to stay on top of her game until the last bit. This would be a good lung buster for the girl and she will be nominated for next wed @ Cannington.

Would like to say that after a conversation tonight , that i thought i would express my thoughts and reason on why the girl did not race last start. she had over strained and was a bit niggly in the front shoulder at which i made the choice for the girls best to scratch last start.
3 shoulders and a bit of luck is niether the way to race or win a race. after 2 starts from boxes in whixch im sure u would agree are far from the perfect draw in being the 5 and the 6, from these 2 runs princess was harty in finding the earnings with a 3rd and 4th neverless in times that would of being good to win you a prov class on either the tue or friday.
27 subs when our girl had trialed 27.90 i statde last week that they are getting quicker and going for the easy killings only to be out done again tonight in a time of 27.66. just 1/2 outside the race record.
We are heading towards canno for the straight run in order to give her a clear crack at the lead if able to draw near the rail. she has also had a bit of extra weight added for her first start over the 530m.
i feel that the girl will be ready to show her best in some time from now , but until then she will hold her self well and rack up soem good races for us all.
rome cant be built in a day guys.

The girl pulled up with a cut to the dew claw that will need some time off. she must of did it at the first turn when she was galloped on.
its right under her claw and is causing her some grief. we have attended to it full time but i do think iys going to be around a 3 week break.
i will post some pictures tommorrow so that all members in the dog may see.
was a real shame i i thought it was a real honest run first up but to see her foot says just how much she did put in

Was a real shame members as the girl shattered her dew claw bone which is like a thumb for a person.
the result was she needed surgery to have the bone removed. Her recover is coming along fine so far (touchwood) and all swelling is slowly going down. it needs to be replaced every day which the wife is doing with such care as she attends to her like a child.
the main time off for a thing like this can be any time from 3-6 weeks. she will and should come back to race with the same amount of gsto as i havnt had this injury before but the vet tells me of many recovery stories with good out comes.

So far the girls recovery has been good. With her stitches out now you would not be able to tell that she has had a op done and is bouncing about full of beans.
Would say another 2 days rest and we will let her out to have a run under controlled conditions.
she will only do what she wants on the leg and we will report on her first outing.
Other wise if we continue to get recovery like this then she shouldnt be to far off the gtrack at all. a couple of weeks at leats but should be up and running with in 3-6

Went out yesterday arvo and took off like a bat out of hell while running 2 laps at her own pace.
She went well and so far has seemed to lost none of that pace. She was straight away iced and put back to rest.
Will see how she is tommorrow or the next day and more than likely let her out again for a free gallop.

Went out for a free gallop yesterday afternoon and had to be pulled up in the end for fear off her won safety.
She stretched out real well and was showing no sign of soreness in her wrist. From now on she will be put back into full time work and will be bought along slowly in her return to the track.
