After having some 6 inches taken from his troublesome tail :3333: Fred has come along day by day with his progress. Yesterday he had his stitches removed with a futher appointment on Tuesday to see how long it is before the bandage comes off.
Fred may well be one of our biggest improvers with time if he recovers A1. I do expect fred to crack the 23 sec mark in time.
The biggest result would be freds over all change in condition since he has arrived as he slowly grows out of his wire brush coat and moves into a more cuddlesome type of fellow . Cod liver does the job once again with a course of Protexin :22222:
That along with his reguler doses of honey and fat are doing his body just fine.
We will try and get some pitures of Fred for You A.S.A.P

Happy to say that freds tail is coming along just a ok for now. We put him in a place in which we thought would be much better short term as it heels and so far it seems to have done the trick.
We have taken some footage of the fellow and hiz kick back jack lazy attitude at club med and seems to have taken a real likeing to the wild life around here as well as he has his daily barks at the local birds who come to close to his MOTEL
With every thing at hand and panning along we plan to have fred at the beach by this mon and back in work some time later that week with his first run over 100-200 mt along the silver sands beach. Im sure the salt water will also take affect and help his wire like skin as well as coat that has changed some 40% since being here at Box :Red Runner:
We will return later in th week to post some footage and photos

:55555: Blew away a few of those hardened cob webs. On his toes again today and thriveing on yesterdays run, as not a dribble left in the bowl this morning.
Soaking up the sun at the moment before he heads to the beach for a afternoon paddle and soaking of the tail.
Over all im 110% with Fred as we make our way towards his first start.

Fred @ The Beach
Part 2
Im so sure that after a race, trial or hard gallop that soaking the old body in the salt water does wonders. Mainly for those joints that may of being strained or pushed that extra bit hard . Then you have the great benefits of the dogs mind :cyclops: when he frequents a place such as the beach.
They normaly stand up and smell the salt some 2 minutes away from the beach as we make our travels. They then start to behave like spoilt kids in which shows me how relaxed and in there own mind they are. Always a huge advantage having a switched on thinking dog.
Add a few and the benefits of the beach would become more aware. It still blows me away with the lack of trainers that DONT use this great resource we have on offer @ Mandurah

G'day Mate,
I didn't recognize him. He looks lighter in the coat than I remember.
Breaking my neck to watch him race again.
Go you good thing!!!

Race Book Comment Anticipated Starting Price: $4.00 Rating 100. Winner over this trip in tougher company in July at his WA debut in 23.05 and runner up in 23.16 at his next start. Resumed from 2 months off last week when well held over 302m but improvement likely this trip and class. Chance.
Pauls-He drew the 2 box 3 starts ago when he came out a mod 3rd after a 6.72 Soda Burns in the 8 can go the 6.7s on a normal occasion but seems to be a few lengths of best right now.
I do expect to be the big improver with a clear run and room to muster by the 302 boxes

Seems like he might start to hit his straps and may be lower his PB with any luck in his up coming races. Will make this 1 short and sweet and hope to continue the story on the track tonight.
It was more than :flower: to me that i helped contribute to his first start failure over the 302m in which here thought he would be better suited first up over the dashing distance :pig:
I was happy to see that the start later i had re avalueated the situation and placed him accordingly for his next country class in which we sang whistling dixiessssssss
As for tonight i have spoken to a few trainers in the race do FEAR fred . The next quickest times of late are drawn the wrong way round i am told and do feel that if we can once again find the top that there is not a 5TH GRADE DOG ENTERED TONIGHT THAT WOULD RUN HIM DOWN
