I expect Timmy to put in his biggest performance to date tonight with a clear run to the first turn. If we have no luck tonmight then we will push foward to the 492m as i described before. Other wise i have no complaints with Timmy as he is still doing and improving on every thing that is asked off him.
He had a nice stir up this morning and should be ready to

Timmyyyyyyyyyy my man.
Testing skill by name, and testing my skills by nature. At first i thought just what are you bloody doing Timmy as then ran out of the back straight towards the 302m boxes.
From that stage on Timmy decided to set sail for the judge trying to go under dogs before running on stoutly to finish of well by saying he needed futher next start.
Now lets just take a step back 4 weeks ago when we were playing cat & mouse with Timmys mind. See the dogs like the horses are smart cookies and with encouragment and the right prep inables them to flourish and bloom which tells mentaly as well as physicaly.
He just needed some nurturing while we both learnt about each other and our tasks at hand.
As for next week we will be stepping up to the 492m for the first time in which all i hope is for a clear run around the first turn in order for timmy to balance up and set sail a little earlier next week.
I doubt we have the speed to lead but should be prominant from the 302m mark and on. I do expect him to nudge the quali time first up and go on to quali the week after. This falling in line would just about put timmy on line for a canno quali depending on how he finishes and pulls up as well as train on from the 492m

2nd @ 28.94
Did well this week to just miss quali time by 0.04. Was doing his best work late again and pleased with the way he stuck on at his first trip over the distance.
Will be backed up again next Tuesday over the 492m and lets hope he can go a tad faster. If this is the case and he qualies we would be going to Cannington the week after for a 530m quali.
This is not the normal case in which i trial but timmy does need the field experiance.

Will be nominated for a 492m quali on Thursday night with a 2nd preferance of 405m.
No 492m on Tuesday night and we will make sure that we get a start on Thursday night with the dual noms.

Any news on what Timmy is up to this week Bunj?
Wouldnt be surprised if we didnt get a run until next Tuesday but that doesnt worry me as tim continues to improve weeek in week out and this is a major key for a dog that seems to turn out honest. Once again with time cmes maturity and timmy will be ready when called upon.

Qualified 3rd @ 23.43
Was a hones hard effort tonight after doing a fare bit of work before getting to the boxes due to imaturity. I thought that we were in all sorts while boxing him as he was up to his old tricks again before pinging and running into the first turn with a fare bit of strength.
From then on he got a bit widse but finished it off as solidly as he could. He still needs to loose a bit of weight and gain extra fitness and strength.
