Either way he is going to Cannington in 1 or 2 more starts. We will see if we drop the grade then head to Cannington or come up with a win and stay for the shorts which would be his last run over the 405m for some time. Instead he will be stepped up to the 530m at Canno

As with all the good dogs there is always something that happens and this time after being smashed and dropped on his nose he came back to the catching pen with a split webbing.
It is of a bad case and with out a doubt this boy will be out of racing for up to 4 weeks.
With more troub;le found at Mandurah we will be heading towards Canningotn and Northam for his starts when he returns. He just finding to much trouble and not gettting a chance to unleash his winding run.
Sorry Nev and Shona but it will have no out come opn his running ability and i do expect him to come back as goood as he was.

His pad is coming along but once again the recovery is slower due to the moist conditions of late.
Hes already jumping around like a headless chicken but we just cant let him out unti we have more hardening of the skin.
I would say that he may be read for some type of run late next week with development allowing.

Was checked over yesterday arvo before being let out for a gallop in which his pad stood up and did not crack.
From here on in its a return to racing and we will endevour to play safe with lighter gallops over the next week before heading back for some more raceing.
Has being sadley missed as he was on par to go to canno last time and now we just have to start again. But at the end of the day hes saying lets get back to the track and so we will

Went well again this morning and improved some 1/2 length. Still feel he needs a couple more runs before his first up run at cannington which i expect some time in a fortnight at cannington over the 530m

Will head to cannington tommorrow morning to go out of the boxes this time. We are hopeing that he will clear a time around the 31.10-20.
If he does this then he is on track for a race next week on the wed night. If he doesnt then he will start the following week.

Hi Paul and Shannon - Sorry we are unable to attend the BARBQ on Sunday - am quite disappointed but have another commitment that we can't get out of. Is Elite Coast running Saturday night at Cannington - we have heard that he is - but we will check the papers anyway.

I guess thats why he paid unders :$$bills: and the owners are proberly only waking up now.
At i stage i thought we may off had a lady doing the in a wheel chair.
I hope that toook some of the pain away.

It was an awesome win by Elite Coast, felt like an idiot after betting on the quinella with the 8 dog that stormed home to miss second by about a head!
Should have just loaded up on Elite Coast, was super impressed with her run!

How ya doing darl It will be gret to see you there on friday for support of your mate Ben but gee have they stitched him up with the field.
It is without the hottest heat of this race i have seen for years and im sure the race book will support this . I feel we are trying to win a Melbourne Cup with a maiden , But saying that we are going as well as he has being before.
I dont think we can win the heat at all with pout more luck than Burke and Wills along with the parting off the red sea. We might put in a with that as well. BUT I DO KNOW THAT ME AND BENNY BOY WILL BE THER TO GIVE 110%.
